We can collect from over 200 countries, with Parcelhero it’s just as easy to book an import as it is an export, we take care of all the paperwork, send the labels to the shipper, and schedule the collection, we even offer same day collection from many countries.

Pallets and freight delivery

We can ship pallets up to 1,000 kg in weight. Tail-lift freight bookings need to be made 24 hours in advance, and note you may still need to offer the driver assistance with loading.

Parcelhero makes shipping easy, from making your booking, changing or rescheduling, to tracking and resolving any issues, with Parcelhero it’s all just a few clicks away.

Pricing

Our prices include all applicable surcharges, all you need to do is provide accurate sizes and weights when you book.

If your parcel is bigger than it is heavy, it may have size based weight applied, this is called volumetric weight and the way it’s calculated differs by carrier.

Parcel Protection

Our standard liability is €50 for most services, however we also offer upgraded Parcel Protection up to €20,000. This protects against your parcel being lost or damaged, and provides peace of mind.

Collection & Drop off

We offer convenient drop-off locations for most of our couriers, and even if you’ve booked a collection service, you may also be able to drop-off your parcel, track your parcel to check if it’s eligible.

Labelling & Packaging

We’ll help produce all your shipping documents, and if you don’t have a printer, we also offer Printerless collection and QR code drop off options.

Don’t forget you will need to ensure your items are safely packaged in a box prior to the collection.

Tracking & Delivery

With Parcelhero, you can track your shipment from door to door.

When you track your parcel, you can also manage collection and delivery: Change the collection date, rebook, drop-off your parcel or even change the courier.

Customs

If you’re sending outside the EU, or importing into Ireland from an international destination, your shipment will travel through customs, and require paperwork.

But don’t worry, we’ll help you enter the information customs required and navigate any issues that occur.

Sending food abroad

Every country has different rules and restrictions when it comes to sending food. Understandably some countries are very worried about introducing alien plant species to their country. But as a general rule most non-perishable, store bought food is OK to ship.

What you can send:

Non-perishable foods

  • Store bought foods with a best before date over 6 months away

  • Items must be in the original manufacturers packaging and unopened

  • Wrap each item separately

  • The food label needs to list all the ingredients

  • The best before date must be displayed on the packaging

What you cannot send:

Perishable foods

  • Foods with a shelf life of less than 6 months

  • Homemade foods or any foods not in the original manufacturers packaging

  • Foods that can spoil during transit

  • Food in packaging that have been opened

  • Food that does not contain a food label listing the ingredients

Prohibited items

When you send items abroad, they will likely travel by aeroplane. Unfortunately there are slightly tight restrictions on sending goods by courier. For example you cannot send perfume, even in limited quantities. Parcelhero has a prohibited list that’s applicable to all couriers, and additionally, each courier has the their own restrictions.
